Sales Executive

The Sales Executive is responsible for identifying sales opportunities, building, and maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets. They play a crucial role in driving revenue growth for the company by effectively selling its products or services.

Job Requirements
  • First Degree in Business Management or Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum of TWO (2) years’ experience in an Information Technology and Communications sales environment or equivalent
  • Ability to put together complex technical proposals in response to customer requirements.
  • Experience in managing and sustaining business relationships at the corporate level
  • Experience in IT Sales/IT Industry would be considered an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong influencing skills.
  • Ability to understand client needs and handle the negotiation process.
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Excellent planning, organizing, and time management skills.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and research potential customers or clients. Generate leads through various methods, including cold calling, networking, referrals, and digital marketing.
  • Sales Presentations: Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of the company’s offerings. Tailor presentations to address the specific needs and interests of potential customers.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and key decision-makers. Establish trust and credibility with clients through effective communication and follow-up.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve and exceed sales targets. Analyze market trends and competitors to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Sales Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions with clients, including pricing, payment terms, and contracts. Overcome objections and address customer concerns to close deals.
  • Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and customer interactions in a CRM system. Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management. Ensuring all billings are completed.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the company’s products or services, as well as industry trends and market developments. Provide product knowledge and training to customers as needed.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction post-sale.
    Sales Team Collaboration: Work closely with sales teams and other departments, such as marketing and customer support, to align strategies and meet customer needs.

 

Other duties & responsibilities

  • Liaise with support units for specific technical information.
  • Driving the team effort for supplier and other seminars
  • Assist with planning and coordinating partner events.
  • Attend supplier training for specific technology areas and webinars.
  • Attending department and other meetings
  • Manage Client accounts and collection of payments.
  • Any other related/similar duties assigned.
